Briony is currently working on her PhD, and expects to graduate next summer (2010)! Her thesis research focuses on understanding the history of wind and water in the north polar region of Mars. To do this, she studies the composition and morphology of the north polar sand sea and polar layered deposits, using spectral and imaging data from NASA and ESA orbiters.
