I am an historical anthropologist specializing in material and visual culture, and also work in the history of anthropology. My research includes work on the Virginia Indians and Puerto Rico, latin@ performers of the twentieth century, photography and postcards, museums and fairs, and generally revolves around representations and maintenance of identities.
