Greetings! I'm Shreyas. I'm a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at Cornell University. My research interests lie in the physics and applications of the interaction of light and nanostructured matter. Currently, I'm associated with the Cornell Nanophotonics Group, working on silicon nanophotonics under Prof. Michal Lipson. I graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 2010, with a B. Tech. and an M. Tech. in Electrical Engineering, specialising in Microelectronics. For my master's dissertation, I worked on characterisation of self-assembled quantum dot heterostructures for applications in lasers and photodetectors under Prof. Subhananda Chakrabarti
